The Headless Horseman is no match for a pair of ruthless vampires! Forced to abandon New York City during the 1990's, Count Dracula and Jack the Ripper find their daytime slumber in the Old Dutch Cemetery located in Sleepy Hollow. Citizens of this quaint little hamlet nestled in the Catskill Mountains, are totally unprepared for these vicious creatures of the night.
For decades, Count Dracula has harbored his growing colony of vampires beneath the streets of Midtown Manhattan; until modern technology gets in his way. As New York City faces the approach of a new millennium; Mayor Guiliani seems hell-bent on beefing up security in all public buildings. Unfortunately, twenty-four-hour surveillance makes flying in human form impossible and hunting an even bigger challenge. Drawn by a lush landscape full of fresh game and lots of farmland, Dracula and Jack escape to upstate New York and rediscover the freedom of owning the night once more. Before long, several local residents go missing, and later turn up as blood-drained corpses. Suddenly Sleepy Hollow residents find themselves wide awake, hiding behind bolted doors and shuttered windows.
Dracula Unmasked offers readers a different perspective on the ethereal realm of vampires and the earthbound spirits who keep them company, in a place called the Otherworld. Accompanying Count Dracula and Jack the Ripper on a journey through time are a former Prince of England, a poet and a group of misfit children; together encountering an array of historical figures including, Elizabeth Bathory a.k.a. the Blood Countess, Adolph Hitler, Vincent van Gogh, Charles Manson and even Bram Stoker, himself.
